Welcome to Expertise. All vocations can gain expertise. The skill level that they start to gain it at differs however. In the chart below you will see which requirements are needed and the benefits depending on vocation.
Expertise is gained via training your vocation's primary skill (magic level, archery, melee).
You can speed up the rate in which you gain expertise by using a skill scroll.

Executioner
- Each level of expertise decreases the required health threshold to increase damage by 1%.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 25%, Expertise 2 = 23%
Damage Reduction
• Passive 3% damage reduction added for having unlocked the second promotion.
• In addition to the 3% base damage reduction of 2nd promo, every expertise level you have as a knight grants you an additional 0.3% damage reduction.
-Example:Expertise 1 = 0.3% +(3% Base)
-Example:Expertise 2 = 0.6% +(3% Base)

Splintering Arrow
- Each level of expertise increases the damage done by splintering arrow and increases the duration of the healing debuff.
- Example for damage: Expertise 0 = 50%, Expertise 2 = 60%
- Example for healing debuff: Expertise 0 = 10000ms, Expertise 2 = 11500ms

Earthbender
- Each level of expertise increases the duration of the root effect (pvp) and the amount of mana healed (pvm).
- Example for root: Expertise 0 = 2000ms, Expertise 2 = 2500ms
- Example for mana heal: Expertise 0 = 50%, Expertise 2 = 57%

Sorcerer Magic Level 220


Overload
- Each level of expertise increases the damage done by the overlord (double damage) proc.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 100%, Expertise 2 = 115%

Vampirism
- Each level of expertise increases the amount of health stolen from the target.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 7% of your max health, Expertise 2 = 9% of your max health (halved in PVP)

Impact
- Each level of expertise increases the amount of damage impact does.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 20% damage bonus, Expertise 2 = 24% damage bonus.

Greater Impact
- Each level of expertise increases the amount of damage greater impact does.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 30% damage bonus, Expertise 2 = 36% damage bonus.

Greater Vampirism
- Each level of expertise increases the amount of health stolen from the target.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 10.5% of your max health, Expertise 2 = 13.5% of your max health (halved in PVP).

Magebane
- Each level of expertise increases the amount of mana stolen from the target.
- Example: Expertise 0 = 10.5% of your max mana, Expertise 2 = 13.5% of your max mana (halved in PVP).

Soul Fragments

A NPC inside of the Deity Legs quest currently offers two upgrades to your character. These upgrades only affect your two-handed weapons and their damage.

Upgrade 1 +1% increased damage 2x Pure Magic Spheres, 125x Magical Dust, 125x Malevolent Dust
Upgrade 2 +1% increased damage 10x Pure Magic Spheres, 1500x Magical Dust, 1500x Malevolent Dust
